Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:

1. 1. • High School Completion or Equivalent: Must hold a high school or equivalent recognized qualification.
      • Language Proficiency: HSK level 4 score of 180 or above (the score should be obtained within two years of the application date).
      • Age Limit: The applicant must not be older than 25 years at the time of application.

• Master’s Degree Applicants:

1. • Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution.
   • Language: Valid HSK level 5 score (180 and above, obtained within two years of the date of application).
   • Eligibility: Applicants must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.

2. Doctoral Degree Applicants:

   • POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION: Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
   • Language Requirement: A valid HSK Level 5 test with a minimum score of 180 points (test score should be within two years from the date of application)
   • Upper age limit: 40 years on the date of application.

• Clear motivation for studying in China and at YNNU, as demonstrated in the study/research plan.

Required Application Documents:

1. Online Submission Form: Automatically generated upon online submission. Complete all fields correctly.
2. Passport Copy: Photocopy of the first page (photo and personal details), with minimum one year validity.
3. Notarized Degree & Transcripts: Notarized copy of the highest-degree diploma and Academic transcripts. Applicants enrolled in the final year must submit a pre-degree certificate along with their final documents upon enrollment.
4. HSK Certificate: An effective HSK rating report (Stage 4 for bachelor’s degree candidates; Stage 5 for master’s/Ph.D. candidates).

6. Recommendation Letters: Two recommendation letters, written in Chinese or English, by professors or associate professors who can assess the applicant’s academic potential.

8. Police Clearance Certificate: Certificate of No Criminal Record issued from local authorities.
9. Supporting Documents: Additional materials that might support the application, including awards and publications and proof of outside interests.

      • Sign up, Enter personal information, and upload all necessary documents in high-resolution PDF or JPEG.

• Document Verification:

1. 1. • Be sure all uploaded files are in readable condition and meet the uploading criteria (Note: translations, notarizations, etc.).
      • Verify HSK scores, passport expiration, and health certification expiration.

• Submission Confirmation:

1. • Applicants will receive an autoresponder confirmation email upon submission. Store this for later.

Important Notes for Applicants:

• Pre-Graduation Candidates: Must submit final diplomas and transcripts to YNNU’s admissions office before the registration deadline.
• Requirements of health: And those who do not have medical reports complete or updated will be disqualified.
• Visa Procedure: The scholarship winners will have to apply for a student visa (X1/X2) according to the official YNNU Admission Documents.
