Southeast University Fully Funded University Scholarship 2025-2026

Southeast University (SEU) is a comprehensive and research-based institution. It is Established in 1902 and has a rich tradition of excellence in disciplines as diverse as engineering and medicine. SEU is dedicated to internationalization and academic innovation and will continue to introduce a series of mutually beneficial. It is a fully funded scholarship program to attract excellent international students from all over the world.

This scholarship scheme is available for master’s and doctoral students for the academic year 2025–2026. It is eligible for all international applicants at Southeast University. Scholarship details: Covers full tuition, accommodation, and medical insurance and provides a monthly living stipend for academically minded students who want to earn a more advanced diploma in the People’s Republic of China.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• • Nationality: Open to all international (non-Chinese) citizens

Educational Background:

• Master’s: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• PhD: Master’s degree or equivalent

Age Limit:

• Master’s Applicants: Maximum 35 years
• PhD Applicants: Maximum 40 years
  

Language Proficiency:

• • Applicants must provide an English Proficiency Certificate
  • IELTS/TOEFL scores are optional but not mandatory
  • Native English speakers or applicants whose previous degree was taught in English may submit a letter from their institution confirming English as the medium of instruction

Application Procedure

1. Visit the Southeast University Online Application Portal.
2. Fill out and submit the required application form and documents.
3. No need to send physical (hard copy) documents at the initial stage.
4. The scholarship selection process involves a preliminary review of academic merit and departmental assessment.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be asked for an interview or further documents.

Note: All information and documents uploaded by applicants must be true and complete. Application forms without supporting documents will not be processed.

Applicants must need to prepare the given documents:

1. Completed SEU Online Application Form
2. Highest Degree Certificate (Notarized copy)
   • Note: Current students may submit a Hope Certificate with an expected graduation date.
3. Academic Transcripts (Notarized copies)
4. Study Plan or Research Proposal (Minimum 800 words)
   • Clearly explain academic background, interests, goals, and reasons of choosing SEU
5. Two Recommendation Letters
   • Must be from Professors or Associate Professors
   • Letters from Assistant Professors or Lecturers will not be accepted
6. Copy of Valid Passport (Clear and unexpired)
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Photocopy acceptable)
8. English Proficiency Certificate
9. Acceptance Letter (Required for:)
   • All PhD Applicants
   • Master’s Applicants in the fields of Medical Sciences, Economics, and Management

Additional Information and Recommendations

• Early Application is Strongly Recommended: The application portal may experience high traffic near the deadline. Applying early allows sufficient time to gather and upload all required documents.
• Translation of Documents: All the documents should be in English/Chinese. Documents in languages other than English need to be submitted with official translations.
• Physical examination validity: Reports to be issued within the last 6 months.
• Interview (if applicable): Departments may ask for an online interview for final selection.
